Cambridge Community Foundation
The Cambridge Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 public charity. They are Cambridge’s local giving platform – built, funded, and guided by residents since 1916. They are a convener and catalyst for transformative change. Soca Fusion was lucky to receive a Cambridge Reimagined Social Innovation Award in 2020 and also received micro grants as time continued on. We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support and resources CCF has granted us over time.
Boston Cultural Council Recipient 2022 and 2023
Soca Fusion was/is extremely lucky and grateful to be amongst many org’s and businesses that received the 2022 BCC and RC grant from the Boston Cultural Council! This was our first major grant and are excited to be able to continue moving forward with our vision of free public programming. Save The Harbor Better Beaches
“Since 2008, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay has partnered with the Department of Conservation and Recreation to award small grants to local organizations and artists who activate the region’s public beaches through free public events and programs on public beaches in Nahant, Lynn, Revere, Winthrop, East Boston, South Boston, Dorchester, Quincy, and Hull.
The goal of the Better Beaches Grant Program is to give decision-making power directly to community members over community spaces.”
Festivals and Projects | Mass Cultural Council
“Culture elevates the quality of life and well-being of communities across Massachusetts. Through Festivals & Projects we support efforts that celebrate our vibrant cultural landscape. These $2,500 grants to organizations fund public activities that incorporate the arts, humanities, or sciences.”
This grant has supported the production of our A Journey Through Weekend - a showcase to support MGH’s Lung Transplant Assistance Fund and a day of dance workshops to support the overall well-being of participants.
